STANDARD REAR LOADER

The McNeilus Standard Rear Loader is the ultimate go-to refuse vehicle. It is the most requested, productive and dependable rear loader for residential and light commercial routes.
The Heavy Duty (HD) Rear Loader is built for reliability, just like our Standard Rear Loader, but with more compaction to get the heavy jobs done, including commercial applications.
The HD can crush up to 1,000 pounds of refuse into the standard 3-cubic-yard hopper, meaning it can run longer routes. It also has a quick pack cycle that keeps the hopper clear, saving you time on densely populated routes. A larger 3.5-cubic-yard hopper is also available.
EXTRA COMPACTION REAR LOADER
When you pack even more power into a collection vehicle, you get the ideal rear loader for tough jobs. The Extra Compaction (XC) is robust, built with more hopper capacity and more compaction force to take on your toughest routes.
With features such as a larger 3.5-cubic-yard hopper, slide and sweep cylinders that can pack up to 1,200 pounds per cubic yard, and a tailgate liner, the XC is perfect for commercial use and demolition stops.
An XC package is also available for even more demanding routes that includes a thicker body floor, reinforced load edge and extended tailgate seal.
TAG AXLE LOADER
The Tag Axle Rear Loader allows you to go where the job demands. Carry optimal payloads while complying with weight restrictions and state roadway laws.
This is the only rear loader on the market with the tag axle built into the tailgate, providing for more carrying capacity in weight-restricted areas. The tag axle also lifts with the tailgate when the payload is ejected, keeping it clear of trash. The unique design of this rear loader provides long-lasting reliability and better weight distribution.
SPLIT BODY REAR LOADER
The Split Body Rear Loader is built flexible and tough. Designed to fit what you need for dual-stream refuse collection.
This rear loader is available in two body sizes (25 and 32 cubic yards) and with a 40/60 split to meet the needs of your operation.
The tailgates operate independently, with controls on both sides of the tailgate so you can pack from either side of the truck. The co-mingled collection capability also helps improve your carbon footprint by eliminating the need for another truck to pick up recyclables. When paired with the McNeilus Rear Loader Organics Package option, it makes an ideal truck for organic waste pickup.
M2 REAR LOADER
Customers like options. And that’s why we’ve got another solution for global refuse collection needs. The M2 Rear Loader is ideal for international haulers looking for a lighter weight rear loader. It’s also built for reliability and with an easy-to-maintain body that can be mounted on a single-axle chassis.
With many of the same attributes as our Standard Rear Loader, the M2 is available in 17-, 20-, 25- and 28-cubic-yard body configurations. It’s rugged design and low cost of maintenance make it an attractive global option.
